• Automatic data. Standard web logs and cookies: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site. See “Cookies” below.

How we use it

• To process your order, deliver your e-ticket, and check you in at the door.
• To send event updates such as schedule changes, entry details, and reminders about the weekend you have a ticket for.
• To send newsletter emails you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To review job applications and contact applicants.
• To answer questions sent through chat, email, or phone.
• To keep the site running, measure what is working, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the event:

• Stripe, which processes card payments under its own privacy policy.
• Our customer messaging and CRM platform, which stores contacts, sends our emails and texts, and powers the chat bubble.
• Our website host and email provider, which store site data and deliver messages.
• Law enforcement or regulators, when the law requires it.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send order confirmations and event-day updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are needed for the shopping cart and checkout to work, plus basic analytics so we can see which pages people visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and checkout will not work without the essential cookies.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Job applications are kept for up to one year after the event so we can reach out about future work. Chat conversations are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and improve our service.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom, or reply STOP to any text.
• Ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@cubancreationscigarfest.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep order records the law requires us to hold.
